I can work today!

Sean and Kirstie spend every day this week at a summer camp of sorts and Isla has some windsurfing lessons. What does this mean?It means I can get on with some work after last week's wash-out.
I'm way behind on my novel and 'Spread 'Em' needs a rewrite. On top of that I have a web site and a training manual to complete for a company called Uvendia who do sales training and software. It's a start-up company and I've been working with the main guy there for over a year, learning a lot about NLP and sales. That's not a world I knew anything about (or cared about, to be honest) but it's been stimulating to pick up new knowledge. I think the company has a good chance of being very big.
After a sticky day yesterday I was happy to feel the rain come down while I was running this morning. It was the sort of humidity yesterday we used to have in Singapore all the time, when doing anything meant you broke out in a sweat. I mean it. You could change a fuse in a plug and be dripping by the time you'd opened it up. Not nice.
