Outfoxed

Tuesday, October 12, 2004

Either the foxes are becoming ever more confident as they prowl our area or they finally realise that the wheezing geezer poses no threat at all. Yesterday morning, as I puffed across the Common, a fox watched me come and pass.

People have spoken of their increasing boldness and suggested that young children playing in back gardens may be at risk. There's a headline that Blair will be fearing: 'Hunting ban killed my baby'. There can't be any foxes left to hunt in the countryside anyway: they've all moved to the suburbs.
