It came and I drank it

Just before the Geek Dinner in London I responded to Hugh Macleod's vinivirus by signing up for a free bottle of Stormhoek wine. The wine arrived - suitably dressed in a special label with my name and blog address on it and numbered 12 out of 75 - and I drank it.
I drank it with a Hot Pepper Passion pizza from our local Papa John's pizza place so it had to work hard to cut through the heat of those passionate peppers. Suffice to say that the wine did its job. It was labelled as a Sauvignon Blanc (albeit in a Pinot Grigio shaped bottle) and had a screw top, which, for a wine that's not going to sit on your shelves for years, is exactly what's needed.
The best part of the package for me was the small booklet accompanying the wine. Entitled 'Wine Blogging as Marketing Disruption', this was partly an introduction to Stormhoek and partly an essay by Hugh on using the blogoshere to spread the idea virus and challenge traditional marketing routes. Needless to say the booklet was illustrated with Hugh's trademark cartoons.
So, thanks to Hugh and Stormhoek for the wine and the excellent booklet.
