Laura and I are sharing the home office today. She has paperwork to catch up on for her business and I am writing sales training scenarios.

I suggested to her that we could start an office romance but she didn't seem too keen, probably remembering what happened the last time we did that - Reuters, 1990. (Marriage, Singapore, three children, waste of space husband, etc.)

To compensate and to make the past come alive I ate a small madeira cake that was really a madeleine.

Anyway, I'm not sure we could have kept it secret from the children, either.
